Hello artsy friends!

I am so glad you stopped by! I am Amy Colligan, a wife, mom, nurse, professor and most of all- artist! (Sandy Allnock told us to call ourselves artists since that ‘label’ fits many of us.) She has been my motivation for this blog.

I have been crafting my whole life. I started with scrapbooking as an adult around 1995 when my friend was a Creative Memories demonstrator. Remember them?? I still have some of their albums and still use the mini paper trimmer with the drawer inside. I have so many scrapbook supplies, it was easy to transition. I progressed to card making  (full time)about 1 1/2 years ago, and haven’t stopped since. I had dabbled with stamping and had some embossing tools and inks, but only recently did I start to really use them all, daily. I made a few Christmas cards in the past, but never to the degree that I now am stamping and making cards. My biggest change was going from buying 12×12 sheets of paper to 8 1/2 x 11! I have also really discovered that I have full-set syndrome. Bad! Please join me in creating and learning even more about the paper crafting world and mixed media!

I have been happily married for 18 years, have two kiddo (13&17) boy/girl, and an amazing doggie named Austin Puppers- Dog of Mystery. I live in beautiful Colorado and just love it here.
